A Identity Management Specialist I is responsible for onboarding and offboarding of network accounts, Office 365 administration, and active directory administration.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (and other duties as assigned)

  1. Create network accounts, email accounts, and configure access for new employees.

  2. Disable network and email accounts and disabling access for separating employees.

  3. Order IT equipment for new and existing employees.

  4. Complete active directory (AD) account modifications.

  5. Responsible for Office 365 administration.

  6. Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and going through pertinent questions.

  7. Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.

  8. Walk the customer through the problem-solving processes.

  9. Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.

  10. Provide accurate information on IT products or services.

  11. Maintain, update, resolve requests in ticket tracking system.

  12. Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team.

  13. Identify and suggest possible improvements to procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Associates degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • One (1) year of help desk technician or other related customer support role.

  • Experience with Office 365 and Active Directory administration.

  • Proficiency in English.

  • Excellent communication skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees or customers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
